Trees, nature and ecology play an increasingly important role in the climate change environment.
Well-educated diagnostics (diagnostician/ tree assessors) mean fewer tree accidents, healthier parks,
more sustainable urban development. The project aims to improve the quality and increase the
efficiency and effectiveness of activities in the field of vocational training of people involved in tree
assessment by developing a comprehensive training program and teaching materials and training
standards and evaluation of acquired knowledge and skills. A set of training standards for tree
assessors, materials for trainers, basic and advanced level self-assessment manuals and tools,
developed by a team of experts from 3 partner countries (Poland, Latvia, Hungary), will be a unique
offer for arborists in Europe.
